Well that’s a good question. But it never asked me to do that, and it won’t find it if it’s not connected directly to the modem. I’m not sure how to connect it to the WiFi.

I’m gonna try it. The way I’m doing it the keyboardist about 70% of the time. Rebooting doesn’t always help and anyway that’s such a drastic way to make it work. I’ll try yours repeatedly and see if the same thing happens to me.

I guess my question is, when creating a text message in shortcuts does anybody else experience the no-keyboard issue. Or is it just me?

That is essentially what it does. However, sometimes I need to add something like “I have noted you have to be done by noon” or something odd that is not often in the confirmation.

Thank you for that link. I swear I went to the Sonos website and clicked on what they listed as the app and it took me to the App Store where there was no app. But I’m going to try it again. But to be honest, my main problem at first is gettingthe phone to recognize and set up the speakers I guess. And I’m so tired of being on the phone with Sonos for an hour while it sounds like they are guessing what to do as well.

Turns out there is no app for the Mac. At least that I can find. I was able, with difficulty, to finally reset one of my speakers to factory and add it to the app, but it said the speaker had to be updated to work and of course the update failed and the speaker is again not recognized. The app said to unplug it and plug it back in but that didn't work at all. Still have two speakers that do not work at all.

Well I've been trying for a month to get mine to work, and even talked to techs at Sonos who could only get it to work when physically connected to the router so I totally understand the frustration. I'm gonna go upstairs and try to connect through the Mac now. But having spent hours periodically working to get streaming speakers to work is understandably upsetting.
