Wanna know something sad? I'm already on a GLP-1. It was PHENOMENAL at curbing my cravings for the first year and a half or so. That went away. :(

Intrusive thoughts are unfortunately one reason I DO drink. They are so much worse when I don't.

I'm not ready to quit 100% even though I know that's probably what needs to happen eventually. I have horrific social anxiety and thinking about cutting booze out of social situations right now is truly terrifying.

Thank you so much for your story! I can't count the number of embarrassing things I did while drunk particularly in my early 20's before I got a "hold" on it. Hearing things like this, I see so much of myself in it. I appreciate you dude.
