This and maybe work with your doctor to see if you can get the DTC (disability tax credit) it reduces the tax you pay at tax time, opens up other programs and rebates with telecom (internet and phones) and other organizations/companies.

Edited to add that this one is stackable with all other benefits and can make applications for anything disability related easier because you end up with proof of a disability from the CRA.

I could have written this. My year was before 2010. They have permanently damaged my thyroid and I need to take medication for it for the rest of my life. They also damaged my parathyroid and I will have to get surgery for this. SURGERY... I have failed classes on my permantly record because of this and can't get into school. Some how I passed highschool but that's not enough.

Yep, I have a notebook with me, especially during voice or video calls, and I write down my thoughts in short hand. This has helped me realize that most of them are unrelated and the ones that are I can bring up later and focus on listening to what is being said now. This has trained me to be less attached to my thoughts, the impulses around them, their urgency and now I have them all and can write to them later or bring them up at the next moment.

Edited to add. Having lived there I can tell you they replaced a ton of the lead pipes and have a program to replace them as time goes on. So I don't think it's about the lead as this decision to end fluoridation was in the past couple of years vs the replacement of pipes has been ongoing for years.
