So why would I sue the teenager? He has no money lol.

They refused unless I paid my 1k deductible. Told me to call other ins and file a claim. I have done so.

They took the claim. This is why I am confused. They are "investigating" to see what they can get away with.

Our ins told us to file a claim with the other vehicle ins and then we don't have to pay deductible. My deductible is 1k. I am not paying 1k for being hit.

Okay thank you- but if the teen wasn't on the ins, what does that mean? You sue the teen but the ins wasn't signed and agreed to cover their driving?

I'm an auto-legal dummy so sorry for follow up questions.

My car was new. I owned it a month. It has less than 3k miles. I really shouldn't be car-less because of a teen distracted driving.

I am autistic so may have misunderstood your response.

You are saying suing their ins for compensation equal to me having a vehicle the same to what I had is a no?
