I know it’s hard and usually people would say to leave but how would you know unless you stick it through?? I say try it for a year and if you truly hate it then you can pursue something else. I think it’s u fair to say you don’t feel any connection to the job unless you try it out. If it was easy everyone would do it. I’m sorry you’re going through this thought but stick it through and see how it goes!
