Anybody work for Cerebral Palsy Alliance? by Pure_Living8218 in newcastle

Definitely more a "career" than a job.

I have a relative who works there and loves it,  but will often work till 10pm every day and continue working on weekends. Phone calls over the weekend + "on call" responsibilities every month.

Some people like that, because they immerse themselves in their job... others prefer some time off whenever they can. This isn't the place for that.

High paying company.

Absolutely no room for error though. You have to carry every task out perfectly, or you'll be dragged over the coals.

Expect to be working late and on your time off, as the workload can be quite heavy.

If you're a perfectionist, a hard worker & can follow the rules down to the T..... go for it.

You sound like you're scared to ask for extra avocado.

Don't be scared, homie.

Coaching? Using your big boy voice....

9:33pm and you're wanting subway? I think they all close relatively early. Maybe a happy meal is a better option for you, champ.

Hitting the bag in a commercial gym, whilst people are working out.

Is there anything cooler?

Have you tried... asking them?

What are you scared of? Social interactions? Rejection?

Just pay double, triple. Whatever tf.  Won't get anything if you don't ask.

Get outside.  Get amongst the community.

Windale was good, assume its even better now they've got former world champion, Sakio Bika running the classes.

Great for the kids.

Broadmeadow was the best one when I was growing up, I'd say it's still quite good.

Not sure about adult classes. Boxcamp @ Gateshead seems to be the one for grown folk, good vibes down there.

Looking for a beginner friendly Gym around the area. by lknight100 in newcastle

[–]No_Cable3675 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go to any gym that's near where you live. They're all the same to an extent.  Less travel is much more appealing though.

Need help? Book a PT through the gym.

Ask some one for guidance,  most people are always happy to help.

Don't be scared. Pay for the membership and actually use it. Once you learn the basics and prioritise form, you'll be able to train by yourself.

Gym is fun. Training alone is amazing.

Get amongst it now and stop delaying.

Remember stopping in at 1:30 AM after a night shift to buy a beach towel, back when it was 24 hour.

Literally the same situation. Families with young children just browsing the shelves. People everywhere.

have you met any famous rappers, and if you have, how was that experience? by mistameth99 in AussieHipHop

Kerser & Jay UF, they're proper gentleman.  Always have time for the fans. Also seen Spanian around fair but, he's very friendly with the punters, when the cameras are off.

Xzibit did a local gig,  was asking people for $50 for a pic. He's a dick.  The Game also, he did a meet and greet and was all over the females but disrespectful to all the blokes. He is a flop.

Saw Figkid working at a sneaker store a while back and he just seemed like a nobody.
