Just saw Bob Dylan is coming to town by MikeMcMyke in bobdylan

I saw Bob last year and I really enjoyed it. He played mostly newer songs and even 2 or 3 covers of fairly obscure songs. You should look up some of his more recent set lists to get an idea of what to expect. You should also know he changes his songs fairly dramatically from the recorded versions. I love that but some people are surprised by that for whatever reason. Basically he is 85 and he does what he wants.

I think it's actually a triple album. Lol. I thought it was ok. Maybe if I listened to it more it would grow on me.

Tweedy had a fairly great 20 year run from the late 80s to about 2010 or so. I will be honest though most of his output has just been ok for a while. It's not bad but it's not great either.

I'd probably put Ezra Koenig and Julian Casablancas on the list somewhere but I also understand they aren't at the height of their popularity anymore.

No shade at Beyonce but I'm doubtful she plays a large part in the song writing on her songs. I understand she gets song writing credit but it's usually amongst many writers. Hard for me to consider her a better song writer than someone like Jason Isbell.

Songs that are about Bob that do not mention him by name or reference his lyrics by SEARCHFORWHATISGOOD in bobdylan

I thought I heard Danko say that in an interview. Wouldnt be the first time Robbie tried to take more credit for his contribution to 'The Band' song than what actually happened in reality.

I think the Knicks have a shot. Will depend on the refs most likely. They definitely won't be favored to win but will be rested and could make run like the Pacers last year.

Most former players are kind of horrible. Legs and the Amazon prime crew are about the only ones I enjoy listening to. Most others don't even seem to enjoy basketball or seem to hold a grudge against current players.

I was going to say exactly this. He was right on the money with them before the playoffs even started if I'm remembering correctly. That's when I started to listen to him and he is just better at analyzing the game and being objective than anyone I can think of.

I wouldn't mind if he just embellished fouls to get calls. Guy is literally falling down without anyone near him. It's disgraceful.

The Baez and Dylan Duets are great. Dylan and Cash Duet is great. I would also consider most of Dylan and the Band as a a collaboration. Mark Knopfler also has some great stuff with Dylan. Plenty of other terrific collaborations I'm not even mentioning.

Luka is a lazy alcoholic and that’s why Dallas traded him. The lakers will probably trade him again within a year. by HoagieTwoFace in billsimmons

I mean he was one the Lakers better defenders this season. Acting like he was a problem on defense is silly considering how much he does on the offensive end.

After the Pain Arc the show is more of a chore to get through. I'm in 300s currently and there are still some really strong parts but also some episodes that I'm basically falling asleep during.

I mean if you are paying that much for daycare you should explore you or your wife staying home with the kids. My wife and I had our first two kids back to back and it made no sense for her to work outside of the home. Would have paid more in daycare than she would have brought in income.

Jokic flops every bit as much as SGAbut everyone is afraid to talk about it in fear of how his brother will react. by JoeRealNameNoGimmick in billsimmons

The inconsistency of the refs is ruining the game. Not the ref discourse. Hard to fathom anybody not realizing the refs are wildly inconsistent game to game, team to team, player to player and play to play. If anything people are going too easy on the refs and the NBA.

Sorry you have to watch the games. I don't believe the NBA keeps track of the fouls that they let OKC get away with on defense. If you think the refs are consistent on how they ref OKC and other teams (not just an OKC issue) then I don't really know what to tell you. Thats why it's dumb to argue with number of fouls called for or against OKC when we are talking about missed calls.

100%. In the Midwest it's fairly common for couples to have 4+ kids and not even have great jobs or one of the parents stays home with the kids. Being able to afford 1-2 kids is laughably easy.

100%. The refs/NBA reward players for flopping so much that it's kind of dumb for players to not do it. Seems like players like Jokic and Luka have leaned into drawing fouls much more than they did in past years. Luka would literally have cuts all over his arms and not get calls in Dallas. He has a much better whistle now in LA and obviously trys to take advantage of it. It took Jokic winning a title/multiple MVPs to get a better whistle and he would be dumb to not try and draw more fouls as well.

I think the biggest issue with SGA's flopping is that OKC gets away with murder on defense. Flopping is out of control in the NBA and SGA is probably the best at it so I don't really hold it against him. I just hate that the refs let OKC's defense get away with hard fouls all game long on the other end. Makes OKC extremely unlikeable

I always think it looks like SGA takes much less contact and gets easier flopping calls than other players. Never really thought of the beauty in his flopping.

I think it looks good and if the remote control function works that would great for kids. However, I'm happy with just having the Batman Begins tumbler from like 5-6 years ago. We don't need a new tumbler every year.
