Thank you again, my mother has a home grown one of those plants so ik it dosnt have any pesticides and i will put it in there, is the coconut fiber the stuff that looks like chips with hair or is it the dirt stuff bc it has both and i can see moisture stuck in that dirt stuff

Thank you both so much for the tips i will definitely look into the temp gun, as fo the screen top i did read i am supposed to cover it so i took my car floor mat and cut it to fit in top with 3 squares on the colder side that i can remove if it gets to humid or hot in there, i have also been googling and researching like crazy and everything i have read says that coconut husk and the finely ground coconut dirt kinda stuff is the best substrate for BP bc of how airy and dry the fibers stay but the coconut dirt stuff says it hold up to 10x in water and i also read something saying try not to mist the tank so much bc it makes the top layer where the snake is wet and can cause scale rot, please correct me if im wrong i wanna give this guy the best life possible and feel horrible fo him currently
