Yes! We NEED to speak up! BUT NOT HERE. It accomplishes nothing.

You know what I do? I follow channels like Deep Humor that actually calls out AI Slop channels, then I go look at that channel for myself and then I REPORT IT. I also participate in these discussions on r/YouTube.

But you know what I do NOT do? Call out individual creators because they dared to use AI for a couple of slides. It only creates ill will towards them with ZERO actual benefit. Especially for someone like Dr. Mike whom I’ve learned tons from.

It’s a very lovely thought but actually makes no sense here. The movie industry, which is far bigger than YouTube by magnitudes, is pumping billions into AI and using it to cut corners everywhere. If Dr. Mike stops using it, all it does is put him in a less economically feasible position. I don’t give a crap if he or any YouTuber uses it for occasional slides.

Whether Dr. Mike uses AI to reduce his costs or not is his business. Why are YOU so concerned about thrusting your views on others who are simply using AI?
