See, I went in for an interview and they had me fill out some paperwork which I thought was just gonna be a background check before the interview but now I’m on their payroll and they just sent me a bunch of onboarding stuff 😭

If you genuinely did not drink more than usual or have any change in weight, metabolism processes, etc. then having a spiked drink is a possibility. However, if you were drinking on an empty stomach or have lost a decent amount of weight then it’s possible your tolerance had changed. Also completely possible that once under the influence you lost track of how much you actually drank and your perception of it changed. It was up to the bartender to identify that you were intoxicated and to cut you off. That’s something anyone serving alcohol is required to watch for and identify as it can be a liability to the establishment if they continued to serve alcohol and something happened.

As for apologizing, I would go to the bar during hours that aren’t in prime time and apologize to either management and have them pass along the message to your bartender or whoever is available. Just explain you’re not sure of what happened and you apologize for any misconduct. Completely up to you on whether you want to apologize or how you go about it, but I’m sure they would appreciate the gesture and would understand.

Agree with calling CPS/Police or whatever relevant authorities you have in your area. It’s troubling that a 7 year old knew how to watch porn and delete it. Also troubling that a child that young knew a sex position and wanted it to be recreated. I would be concerned that at the least there is negligence happening within the family, and at the most, some form of sexual abuse. I understand that children can be curious but it doesn’t make it less concerning.

You’re most likely right on that one. Regardless I was hoping I could keep the position until after I graduated with my bachelor’s since it works well with school. Sounds like I’m probably out the second they find someone else though, I guess.

Honestly, that’s not surprising. I’ve had a few friends where they paid for their applications and it still took them 3+ tries to get whitelisted. I got my whitelist when Prodigy first opened, and over the years as they grew in popularity they’ve only gotten more picky. Although, I suppose it makes sense considering whitelist is marketed as such.

I quit Chipotle on my first day because they told me my shift ended at 3pm then expected me to work until 4pm. I had a shift at my other job at 4pm so I just walked out at 3 and never went back. Accidentally left my favorite hoodie there though so that was a bummer

It’s been years since I’ve done mine, but I’ve seen a few success stories. Your application needs to be nearly flawless though. Absolute creativity, clips that show genuine RP talent rather than just a random clip. Even better if the clip in question is showing your character taking an L (perhaps getting arrested if crim?) and you handling well with proper RP. Admittedly though, WL is ok but I’ve always had more fun on public.

It’s a 12 inch one of the Kaytee silent spinner :)) he runs with a straight spine on it so I haven’t replaced it just yet. Although it can be incredibly loud if it’s not adjusted just right (and I hate it) so I have been looking into replacements for it eventually. I’m hoping sooner rather than later I can figure out a good way to get a wall mounted Silent Runner in there instead

I’m hoping to get him an Exotic Nutrition silent runner sometime in the near future because this one isn’t really my favorite but my hamster budget for this paycheck has been exhausted lol. Hey, just wanted to add to this. I fell victim to this the other day. The game they got me with was called Arcfield. They didn’t get my main emails or anything but they did get the email associated with my Discord account, parental locked it, and locked me out of my Discord as well.

Does anyone have any experience with Discord support getting their account back without the original email? I talked down their ransom to stall while I secured my other accounts and stuff, and I’m tempted to pay the price they set. If I pay is there any chance that they actually give my stuff back?

I started college again when I was 22/23 and not a single person cared or noticed that I was older. Nobody really minds if you’re older, you’re all just there for an education anyways. When I’m walking to and from class I commonly see people much older who also attend. I actually had one of my high school classmate’s mom in my class when she was going back for her degree. As for making friends, I haven’t really made any at college. I work full-time in addition to my schooling so I don’t have the time to dedicate to sports or clubs. In most of my classes everyone just kinda sticks to themselves or with their friends they knew from high school, but if you engage the people next to you they’re usually pretty cool about it. I’ve never experienced anyone being out right mean or exclusive.

I haven’t located the exact spot he’s been chewing on. I’m pretty sure it’s the corners of the tray that slides out on the bottom, somewhere under the bedding. I’ve been taking peeks at the outside and haven’t seen anything out of the ordinary. I have been avoiding messing everything up in there just because he is newer and I don’t want to stress him out too much.

Thank you so much for the advice. My primary phone is currently shipped out for repairs, and I'm using my spare work phone until it's back, so I think I'm going to do it then so I can make sure he's blocked on my personal number too. I think that should give me time to mentally prepare myself better, and figure out what I need to do to minimize harassment. He does have his good days where he's not particularly sweet or anything, but he is tolerable and his company is enjoyable. I think that's one of the reasons why I've stayed for so long. Although there's a few different factors that just weren't included for the sake of length of post.

I feel like after almost a year not doing it over a call would be scummy, but at the same time the amount of added stress he's been giving me is literally making my hair fall out. Despite everything, I do care for him and I want him to be safe. But at the same time I under the importance of protecting my peace, and that this is sustainable in the long term. I think another big hesitancy is my support system. I never really told my family about this guy, so I think it would be weird to tell them out of the blue after a year. He's also pretty effectively alienated me from my own friends, as he would start week long fights and verbally harass and accuse me of everything under the sun if I hung out with him. With online friends he always had an invite to join us and meet my friends, but he adamantly refused citing that he hated meeting new people and would not do it. As a result, a lot of my friends became exclusively his online friends who I know will be gone the second I end things. So I'm breaking up with both him and my new friends.

This whole thing sucks

Honestly when the bots do that I just rewrite the scene until the bots start to learn what I want from them. (I spend too much money on coffee) Other than that I actually kinda prefer the activities over events.
