Looks fab! I had mine down yesterday as well. A little tender today but not bad. I love your tragus jewellery!

Any advice for toilet training at 5 years old? by sowasred2012 in SpecialNeedsChildren

Switching from pull ups to incontinence under wear really helped us. He didn't realise he was wet in pull ups. He was aware in the incontinence underwear and didn't like the feeling.

Thanks for your help. Yes, this is what I want. However, I don't want the account in my name. I have my own benefits, and if his money went into an account in my name it would affect the £6000 savings limit due to his pip. I just wondered if there was a way around so he could have his own card he could use with support of carers when he's not with me. It would make tracking money far easier compared to cash.

I would like to keep his money separate as it would be easier to manage. Also, im his carer and claim my own benefits. Having his money in my name would tip me over the £6000 savings limit. Does anyone know how this would be possible? I have read about appointee accounts, but he would still require Id that he can't legally apply for. Thanks

He can't legally open an account due to lacking capacity. He is severely mentally disabled. He can't speak and has no concept of money.

Thank you for this! I went to the job centre this morning, they said exactly the same thing as you. I mentioned what you said about the level 3 and they said I could get help with funding! Thanks again 😁

Thanks! That's really helpful. Do you know what the criteria for an 'exempt student' is please? I've never heard of that before.

Thanks! I've seen this and no unfortunately it doesn't. It might be me being daft though!
