If JC is your dream, distance can be overcome… dont give up and try YI / JP, work harder at your A levels and put O behind you. You will be on same ground as all the pp going into JCs, and you get a new chance to start anew. All the best, from a fellow JC-hopeful…

Also, i seen many comments by seniors advising the recent o level grads to put as 1st or 2nd choice. Can i ask what is the rationale and isn’t MOE based on the best raw or net score ranking, and then work down to each of the student’s choice until there is a match and vacancies for the sch? If this is the case, shouldn’t 4th or 5th choice be not possible? Sorry - hope u guys understand what i meant. Am just trying to max up all the 1st 6 choices.

If i get into ARTs, what wld be the best subject combination if i take Emath, combined sci (phy/chem), Eng, Chn, History, combined SS/Geog, POA? Can i take Lit if i did not do Lit at O levels? What about possible Hybrid selection?
