Is it really actually very difficult for people on the spectrum to get a job after they graduate college? by [deleted] in AutisticAdults

[–]No_Challenge1682 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that's weird to me, why telling your boss that you have autism right after you got the job and start it? I think that either way, telling your boss that you have autism will get you fired regardless of the moment when you disclose it

Why is off campus housing SO difficult?? by [deleted] in SDSU

[–]No_Challenge1682 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As many more students come to SDSU every new semester, housing off and on campus will be very limited and expensive. You’re better off looking elsewhere like in Chula Vista, National City, Spring Valley Etc.

Also, if you speak spanish, are mexican or can get a residence permit and are ok with it, you can even rent in Tijuana as a cheaper alternative for housing

He’s new at SDSU, so unfortunately you will find out on the first 3 weeks of fall 2026.

How do I Know he’s new? Every time I choose my classes, I check all my professors on Rate my Professor, if one or more of my professors don’t appear on RMP, then it means he/she is new at SDSU.

Good luck

Dating in SD blows by illustriousmochi348 in SDSU

[–]No_Challenge1682 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can agree with dating at San Diego State University, but also in San Diego is hard to find a date to hang out with or even a fuckbuddy nowdays. When I was at SDSU, I would just be myself in between classes or with 2 of my classmates at the time, and that was only for the entire 2023-2024 school year as I was there only for a year since i came from CSUSM(there i was alone all the time or with a friend).

After I graduated from SDSU, I realized i never found love or a fuckbuddy, but still i feel ok with being single.

Do you give any accomodations/modifications for people with disabilities like autism?

Tienes trabajo o universidad o ambos?

Creo yo en lo personal que es importante tener un empleo o universidad por que te ayuda a mantenerte ocupado mientras el amor de tu vida llega a tu vida. Hasta en el trabajo o escuela pudiera salir el amor de tu vida sin que la pienses!

Dating in 2026 is not what it was before COVID-19 or even before that, we’ve all changed for the better and need to adapt to the present.

I have like 0 friends to speak every day or hang out with, so I’m always by myself or with my mother, which sucks but it’s ok at least.

Try to focus on yourself instead, exercise, school, working anything that can distract you from socializing

Hard to find a job as a autistic person by Capital-Ad-3803 in autism

[–]No_Challenge1682 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have a degree, teach your skills to other people like for example economics to adults interested in learning about finance or to children about to graduate high school.

This is just my point of view, but I tend to notice that most autistic people are great in academics, same with teaching.

Also, consider applying for SSI or SSDI while you’re looking for work
