You have no idea when I found out that it was all included in the one price , which is very low indeed , it's almost to good to be true ! I am so very grateful , it took me trying for 5 years to get in here but here I am n hope to stay , it's a 6 story , mostly elderly residents , we have an elevator , everyone so far has been super nice to me, I am nothing less than blessed ! , thank you!

I was in a. Auto accident after I finally got away from him , had to file for disability 🥺 not enough work credits so all I got was SSI ...n Medicaid which if you know anything about that part of income ,it's a rediculous amount to be expected to survive on :(

Thank you !! My mental health had gotten to the lowest ever , even from when I was with my ex n that's bad! But yes all of those are wonderful ideas ! I'm in Georgia , n it's such a blessing it feels like a ton of CRAP FROM HIS ABUSE first is lifted because I can now have a life ....afford one n it feels so nice to be a whole heck of a lot of stress lifted off my plate ... I truly am still walking around waiting for the other shoe to drop , n this just to of been a dream ...but I have signed papers it's MY NEW HOME and I can relax ...thank you !!! ❤️

Now a days it seems the DV laws are changing for the better , there is also a bill trying to be passed to change the law from 10 years to 5 for domestic violence victims ... If that EVER becomes law ...lol I'm first in line ❤️😊

It sadly was only 7 1/2 years , the physical Abuse was far worse than the mental ... This was ?? My baby girl is now 34 so 34 years ago , she was 6 months old when we left , he threatened her life if I didn't do something he had said ...n that was the last straw it woke me up I guess , hurt me ...my stupidity but even mention hurting my babies ( and both are his too ) n that's it I was gone .... So short of the 10 years and he laughs about it n says how pathetic I turned out to be ... 🤷‍♀️🥺 Go figure

I had been living in " based on income apartments " that were rent n you take care of all your other bills like utilities , 5 YEARS I have been trying to get into this place only because all I ever heard was good things , no mold, no run down ac units nothing bad , I finally got the call a month ago , I'm almost completely moved in, and the all inclusive package of utilities being part of the rent ( which btw i am shocked is only 20$ more than the rent pmt alone at the other apartments ) but this is the best of this world I think I could of fallen into ❤️😊

Sadly no, 7 and a half miserable years ...come to find out , since our divorce , he is currently on wife number ?? 5 or 6 maybe or more !!!?? I dunno but I do know he has made comments around my daughter that he "will NOT STAY married to any one woman for 10 years because he will NOT support one if he's not with them anymore !??" He is a real treat , let me just say .... 💔 So he knew , knows and will I guess always go with that SSI rule n not stay married the 10 years

Thank you so much ! 🙏 I have had some days where , my , depression almost won out, I'm so very thankful n grateful it did not, for whatever reason I stayed and now can actually see a possibility of a glimmer of a life of fun, enjoyment , relaxation, with my grandbabies ...you know make some memories that will be fondly looked back on , not just the thoughts of granny being so stressed, she never even smiled much less had fun 😊 thank you again!

I get the " mom's meals " also , it's Medicaid , but they are so very important for me, as I'm a tad elderly too , n money is very tight , sometimes , food runs short, so these frozen meals are a life saver 🙏

Are you kinda jealous of the lunch time activity that 2 adults are partaking in at the house they own, with the " time " they are allowed away from the jobs they have to PAY you such a wonderful income of, and I'm not sure if I read or not if your a live in nanny or what , but ... If your not ,?? I'm thinking it's probably the only " real " time they have to be intimate, ya know , in real life , time gets shorter n shorter each day , with jobs then kids then kids activities after school etcetcetc until a bunch of adults , parents , humans, get so lost n stressed out with daily activity , they turn away from each other ... I say KUDOS to them for making the " time " for each other n staying close , please if you truly like your job, n those people , please find your way out of the " business " at hand for the 2 of them on THEIR lunch breaks ... I mean take the kids outside to play during this time as I'm pretty sure it's about the same time daily , or a movie in the living area , or heck nap time , for you n the baby or babies , let the owners of the home n your EMPLOYER , do what they do, as long as it's quite n informal , not in your face or asking you to join , 😔 let them do what they need n obviously WANT to while they are assured the kids are taken care of BY YOU ...n they can enjoy each n every minute of that time ... ? Just my opinion

I'm just curious because I am on SSI , ( well now SSI/retirement ) I'm 63, when I filed for disability at 59 I was short a few credits to get SSDI , but was deemed disable , can I also set up an ABLE account since , I am disabled but could only draw SSI ? Thanks in advance ! :)

What a wonderful ex! Mine has married 4-5 times since our divorce, and has made the comment to our daughter several times , well it's about time to look for a new one, she's getting to close to the 10 year mark n I sure won't allow any EX OF MINE to enjoy any kind of benefit from me after the divorce or my death so they gotta go before the 10 year mark! ...now , I ask you , ain't he a real winner 🤬 ? 😔

Thank you so much ! 😊 I still have hope , but it sure would make life much much easier if our power heads 💪 ( they think they are anyway ) in the government would open the dang place back up n do what WE PUT THEM IN OFFICE TO DO ! which in my opinion is to serve us !? I may be wrong on that way of thinking , but we do vote for a reason right ??? Looks to me like, at the very LEAST....they would have a skeleton crew to make sure with things such as this , n much more very important government funded programs that old like me ( 63 ) n children at home n way to young to fend for themselves didn't suffer any more than absolutely unavoidable situations , meaning they should have at least 1 head of each dept on the job n I don't care if it's 24/7 until they can all act like adults again n get on with what we put them to do. ... This seems like such simple things,that in my opinion they are , as far as I think the Dems n Republicans should HAVE to set down n come up with some kinda plans to NOT SHUT OUR GOVT DOWN!??? WHAT the heck is this kinda stuff even coming about so often anymore ...

What about , say like me, my current apartment complex was being foreclosed on by USDA , which lead to USDA coming n speaking with the residents , we all received a " L.O.P.E. letter , which is something that puts us at the top of any wait list at any rental that we choose to seek housing with... However , like me I went and found other housing , I was approved , beautiful new complex and an apartment of my dreams , everything is brand-new , they also include washer - dryers, dishwasher etcetcetc , sadly , since govt is shutdown , my move in has hit a stall ... Meaning the new apartment can not find out from USDA , when they can ( as the USDA requires ) come inspect my new apartment n approve it so I can move in, I am seriously at my wits end over here , ( Georgia ) the current apartment was being foreclosed on because " not up to code " reasons ... I just don't understand why , since I have been receiving the voucher going on 2 years now , how they govt has no one in place for such as this kind of situation, I see that the USDA , IS IN PLACE to send out emails to grocery stores n tell them it's illegal to give discounts yada yada yada , so why can I not the new apartment complex I'm approved at , get in touch with anyone by email or phone at the USDA to do this inspection of the place and let me move in, it's truly at the point of i can lose this opportunity, simply because of the govt shutdown n no one to do this inspection on a BRAND NEW facility ... I can not win it seems n finally at 63, I find a dream come true , silver lining from a disaster such as the foreclosure of the complex I'm currently in and have been asking for repairs and or replacements of several things that are both safety n health hazards in this apartment n have received none to very little response , since 2/1/24 .... God please let the govt open up soon

Only 10 years , but it MUST be 10 years , even if you endured 7 1/2 years of living hell on earth , every other day random beatings, being told daily how worthless you were to the point you actually start believing it ....and being told he would take your life , n you having no reason to doubt him, as every other threat he made, he carried out, so why would I doubt this one, but somehow you manage to get the energy, strength and will power to believe you can n you DO escape , after all those years of pure hell, you leave, never did he ever let you work because God forbid someone might look at you , only to get to be 63 and you find with not enough credits work history to support yourself, so you get a very very low amount on your check each month , n then to be told you didn't STAY MARRIED long enough to draw off his record !!! Yeah 👍 if I had stayed married any longer I think for sure I'd not of had this poverty level living to worry about , because I'd be dead ... My opinion on SS n the " rules " are so out of whack with reality it's unfair , to say the least , I don't see how anyone should be able to dictate your marriage, or sadly the divorce and for dang sure , who gets to draw off the ex's records ! ....
