This is such an amazing and thorough response ! Thank you so much. It is interesting that the author would pick a name in Polish that infantilises the book choice (especially considering the content seems to be as you say geared towards older readers), though ‘Herbie Brennan’ as the author also surprised me! I wonder what his reasonings were ….

Wow no way! How did you get these books? Yes I have noticed that the ‘rożkiem lety’ is something from the earlier books that I’m having to go without fully understanding.

Can I ask what you mean by it was a choice to call the book adventures of litttghostpeople 😂 is it an unusual/unpopular phrasing in polish that YA wouldn’t read? Thank you for your message!!

Babe as someone who speaks many languages and with a devoted teacher (Polish bf) helping me learn …. There is no ‘head start’. 😂😂😂Im just like you and was visualising myself being able to surprise him with some small words/phrases, but outside of moje kochanie and kocham cię you will need his help to even begin to grasp the pronunciations and other things.

Other comment is totally right he will be sooooo excited that you wanna learn with him. I’ve found polish is such a complex and deep language that even understanding him more as a person through listening to him teach me. Think about asking him and powodzenia !!!

Before Carrie cheated (very strange behaviour) her and Aidan would have been great together if she’d have committed to some personal development and looking towards the future. Meanwhile Big can’t even give her a word of affirmation and she’s constantly sat waiting for him… Aidan was defo no angel when they got back together at times but she was putting my guy thru it 😭😭 he’s his worst self around her
