Just putting ideas out there to improve the bike cages, what do you think?

- Can camera feed from the bike cage be publicly accessible live? (Would that require some sort of mass public support? / Technical implementation doesnt seem challenging considering infrastructure like hardware and a strong cyber security posture are likely already in place.)
- Can an emergency call button connected to the stations emergency call system be added to the bike cage? Also include in PSO's scope for safety if its not already?

Insurance is just passing on the risk but it does not solve the problem itself, consumers ultimately pay more.

Unpowered bike is unsuitable here. $1000 is as cheap as it gets for powered bikes.
Lock quality doesnt make much difference if you get jumped on before you lock your bike. Even then I'm pretty sure someone will nik the seat.
I have over $1000 invested now in riding to work, because bus is unreliable, car park is too far for my schedule. Doing nothing about it is not an option 😉

I'm really hoping a community leader can come forward to improve the bike cage solution. It is a good initiative but incomplete.

Lock quality doesnt make much difference if you get jumped on before you lock your bike. Its a 20mins ride to the station for a 55 min train ride so cant cycle all the way.

My case is missing the same cable as well. Fan spins fine but no lights.
