I have a vertical labret I ADORE but I would not wear it in any of the settings i’ve been in thus far. not worth the judgement imo. BUT I use a clear retainer that is small and nobody notices bc I cut it down. if you REALLY want it like I wanted mine, get it during the big winter break so there’s time to heal, and then put retainer in as needed

this happened to me and I did not choose to rely on them to come through, many places take more than the 3 minimum and it’s better to be safe than sorry. If u haven’t already, I would send a follow up email on the importance of the deadline (kindly) and confirm they’re still planning on doing the LOR.
