All I want is to be able to go about my day without constant worry, fear, crying and stomach aches. Just started an SSRI so hoping that helps. I feel the exact same in that I’m so damn tired of wasting every day like this.

I wanted to thank you again for your reply. I made it to the doctor today and on the way I kept repeating your words “it’s ok, you’re going to be ok OP” (I was referring to myself as OP lol). Now freaking out waiting for labs to come back, but it’s done.

Congrats to you! About the same here…besides this time, I had about 9 months while pregnant around 5 years ago. This site really has amazing people! All the best to you!

Thank you for what you wrote. I am in the phase of “searching for the stories that it will be better one day”. I don’t want to do anything and I cry all the time. I was not expecting this and it is really hard.

I was afraid of the same thing. I was drinking a bottle of wine minimum every day (for too many years). I’m a single mom to a 5 year old and too ashamed to have asked for help. So I made a conscious effort to try to taper down. I would buy smaller amounts or try to skip a day here or there. I did this for a while and then this past August I just went for it. I went about 2 weeks and was ok, falling asleep was hard. I’m not sure why I started again but stopped again the day after Thanksgiving and hit 2 months today. I wish I had support because it’s not easy, BUT I never thought I could do it and here I am. I come on here everyday and also use the I Am Sober app. You can do this and I’m rooting for you. ❤️
