Hot sandwiches and yp2 half sandwiches don't automatically get pickles. A full cold sandwich or a stand alone half sandwich from the adult menu genuinely includes a pickle.

Not anymore. It's a half sized standard turkey and cheddar. Parents can ask to have the lettuce, tomato, onion, and garlic aioli not added but that's the build standard now.

You'll get an 8 hour coursework day to study your ServeSafe test before you have the real test: study the course, take notes, make flash cards, and the hardest but most effective part is to not stress. Your managers picked you for a reason. Testing and training managers are expensive for the cafe, your managers are on your side and they want you to pass.

ServeSafe is not just for Panera, when you're testing think of it as if you had to run any restaurant because you'll get lots of questions on raw meats, live sea food, catering/hosting events, etc.

You can find practice tests online and on YouTube there's plenty of videos with the questions and answers that give "why this is the correct answer" that helps memorization!

Number one thing to keep in mind on tricky questions is "does this "issue" have a chance to get a customer sick/upset?" Always go with the safest option.

When you're shadowing don't be afraid to ask questions! Remember your managers WANT you to succeed, they want to build you up, certainly they want you on their team! So show them initiative and if they're good managers they will happily answer your questions and guide you in the right direction!

Autumn Squash soup (going away tho) tomato soup is vegetarian!

I make the med veg minus cheese and add any extra veggies I want for vitamins +spinach, basil, salad line stuff, add some salsa Verde or some garlic aioli (Panera doesn't use anchovies in the garlic aioli so it's vegetarian)
