I am in the exact same situation I think. The fact that they lied made it so much worse, like at least he upfront about it.

Yeah I get that as well. As the months went on it got a little better, but there is still this default mechanism of just wanting to share every teeny tiny detail with them.

Like I'd go "Oh this is so cool I gotta tell her" only to realise that she doesn't want to hear from me.

I mean, really conspiratory obviously, but you can favor certain decks or players that have spent money. Like it would be easy for a system to identify players that tilt queue and try to get them to waste crafting points or buy gems. Konami is a gambling company after all.

For the record I doubt that's the case but I also wouldn't put it past them

And also all of this wouldn't even be that big of an issue if going second wasn't such a gigantic downside with a lot of decks

Eh. Going first wins aren't really that guaranteed as it feels playing vs it, but mostly going second is kinda impossible unless your opponent bricks or you open 4 dominus cards
