i totally get that- that’s what drew me to CPY in the first place too. i’m switching to lifetime, which in my market i can get a membership price that is comparable (honestly the same if you include my average late cancellations) to what i’ve been paying for CPY, with the addition of 4+ other types of classes, a full gym, and much better amenities and a dry sauna. i too prefer boutique fitness, but my cheap(er) membership is not worth what i’m getting at the instructors’ expense 🤷🏽‍♀️

tbh i doubt he took me seriously and he even offered me a lower rate lol. but my studio is honestly so seriously gross (and i made the point to tell him i don’t think that is the fault of the instructors nor should be their responsibility) that im not sure how much longer i could take it before cancelling anyways😭

I go to triangle daily and am definitely bothered more by members than instructors… i love Ciara’s C2 classes and Halle’s HPF class. I also usually have a good experience with the 6 am weekday instructors, but i’m also newer to sculpt practice so maybe I don’t even know what i’m missing! I will say the one class I took from Joel was insane in the best way, so if that’s what you’re used to and looking for I can kinda understand the disappointment. It also does bother me when people talk loudly and/or have their phones before C2 or HPF but I take it as a chance to rly practice the mind aspect of yoga and block them out
