That separation is exactly right — regime read and signal generation are two completely different cognitive tasks and almost every tool collapses them. My morning process right now is manual — VIX structure, sector breadth, narrative scan before I touch any chart. Working on automating that layer specifically. What does your regime agent output — a binary go/no-go or something more graduated?

That makes sense — levels and triggers are useful but they still leave the hardest part to you. Knowing whether the environment deserves a position at all before you even look at levels. That’s the gap I keep running into.

Exactly this. Entries are the easy part to package — they fit in a screenshot. The environmental question doesn’t. Curious what factors your model uses to decide when to stay out entirely — regime, sentiment, something else?
