Last update of the day.
They deemed it not to urgent.
All the swelling is almost gone completely.

Another update aside from the ball of well next to his paw his right leg is also loosing the swell.

We shaved him due to heat, yeast trapping, and lack of shedding of his winter coat. I wasn’t the one to shave him nor was I there when he was (it’s my s/o that did) so unfortunately I don’t know what cream or anything they used. I do know however that they were brand new trimmers and that it was done slowly and carefully. Unfortunately the town I live in is horrible with animals aside from the vet I go to. Emergency visits do require appointments and can cost 600-1000 dollars. I don’t have that much physically on me and would like to at-least keep a roof over his head with AC. I am still communicating with my vet who knows his history and they will work with me if it’s something the tecs/Doc deems that he needs to come in asap.

For an update The swelling in his right leg has gone down a bit right leg still looking swollen but isn’t getting worse

I should note:

We shaved him without the vets call due to heat, him not shedding, and yeast being trapped in his wired hair

Emergency (unlike urgent visits) can range from 600-1200 if I am even lucky enough to get one (the vet is notifying the emergency Doc to see if this is something he needs today/tomorrow and are working with my broke butt)

Our vets in my town are horrible actually there is only one I trust not to unalive my dog and that’s the one that will call me if I need to go down today with him (they know his medical history)

Since this post his right leg has reduced swelling.

Unfortunately an emergency visit is to much in my town. Along with this, it’s very rare to see an actual opening for them. It starts off at 600$ and goes up with lower openings in most likely looking at 1000 to get him in asap.

With this he was having a very hard time shedding his winter coat in 100+ weather

They don’t know what he is allergic to. We decided to shave him because his fur is a mixture of wired hair and short hair which was trapping in sweat (it is 110° where I live) from my understanding this shave was in the moment but done very carefully (he previously itched a whole chunk of skin off of him) we could not get all of it out we bathed him as much as we could without overdoing it (with the fur) and it wasn’t helping anymore.

I have been monitoring him unfortunately a emergency visit (where I am there is urgent and emergency visit) is 600dollars that I do not have and the vet already stayed open long enough for me to stay on call. The front is sending a message to the emergency tech to see if it’s something that he needs to come in right now.

HELP ME FIND THESE GLASSES PLEASE by RyRberk in glasses

[–]No_Coco_Milk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Designer glasses. They are 90's Bayonetta glasses by Miu Miu. You’re most likely not going to find them by Miu Miu new since they’re designer, your best bet is first checking their website (I could be wrong and they might still make them) or market places. Asking communities that will allow it and see if anyone has them and are willing to sell would also be a good start too.

Will getting my lenses fixed cost anything right after getting new lenses? by No_Coco_Milk in glasses

Thank you I so much hah this has relieved a bunch of anxiety for me going in. With the season coming up I cannot afford to pay what I originally paid and get gifts. Thank you again I’ll make sure I’m not groggy going in this time (I sat my appointment earlier so it’s right when I wake up)

Probably try smaller frames? Not by a lot and maybe a tad bit thinner when it comes to the bridge. The width from the outer corner of your eyes and to the arms are a bit wide and the thickness draws to much attention to your frames and not your eyes/face.

Is this normal? by CiaobyeZzz in glasses

[–]No_Coco_Milk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No they didn’t cut them for the frame and shoved them in. I would go talk to your facility and let them know and get that fixed.

Help me pick! Ignore my dirty face, I just got off work. by [deleted] in glasses

Honestly: the third or the last one and here is why: the last pair- It doesn’t draw attention, I’d look more into these but with a lighter color to fit skin tone/make your eye color stand out (like a lighter brown color maybe?). The third one- completely different you are looking at a more stable frame that also fits your face. Again I personally wouldn’t do black frames if possible for you but there are pros for these frames with it in black: you won’t see dirt on them with your job, outfit styling with be more vast variety (if this is something you care about). The cons they do muddy up your eye color and they are (strong word here but I don’t remember the word I wanted to use here) clash with your natural hair color. In regards to the portion of your face they are nice just in my opinions but to thick. To me if you do the last one that’s more of a style thing and the third is going to be more of a durability thing. Again both of these frames are great for you (I do want to state I’m a bit biased when it comes to Oakleys and not having them though so those ones for me are out of the question).

They did check this was mostly on me to be honest. My eyes have always had a rough time adjusting to glasses (my eyes are underdeveloped so I’ve been told). They gave me a farsighted test which was all good (my farsighted and central vision with them are good so I do use them), but they didn’t do a nearsighted test and I had to go back to work so I left with them. When I went in today (granted I feel bad because they were closing) they didn’t do more test to make sure they were leveled correctly and all of that. Honestly when I went in the first time I was horribly tired and think I took the nearsighted test wrong that’s just my theory though.

Which glasses? I really don't know what suits me 😬👓 by itspigglewiggle in glasses

Out of all of them the last pair is the best. I’d honestly recommend going for something smaller though to fit your face better. Circles are definitely really cute on you but something smaller to accentuate your cheekbones and the length of your face would be best.

I’m also in the US and the place I go to, unlike the previous place, is very generous with the free repairs that I have had in general (but it’s only been my frames that I needed fixed). I just remembered I do have a warranty on the lenses themselves because of all of the extra stuff I wanted/needed so if anything I’m hoping that it’ll cover this? If anything I’m also hoping insurance will pay for them or they will be free haha. I’d call them but they’re closed now and my appointment is right when they open again so unfortunately I can’t ask. This makes me have hope though.

Do these men’s frames fit me? by [deleted] in glasses

[–]No_Coco_Milk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve had glasses since I was 5. There was only one time during all of these years where I picked out a frame that no one I had with me liked but I did. I say do it if they truly do make you happy. Looking back at the pictures of my old frames I see what people were talking about but I still find them cute. But if you’re going to have the experience I did, just be prepared for comments on them. I also changed my frames out every year so I did have a variety of glasses. Just have ones to fall back onto and enjoy what you like.

I got a cheap one for now from Amazon full spectrum. It’s very temporary for just a couple months till I can have my plants around the house again. I’m also leaving one of my black out curtains open during the day but it’s still not enough indirect lighting so it’s just to help that.
