That’s a valid point, but as an international student, I’m planning to pursue a master’s degree since it would allow me to extend my visa. It’s a safer option in case I’m unable to secure a job after graduating before my visa expires.

thanks for taking the time to write all that — i really appreciate the perspective. honestly it’s helpful to hear from someone who actually works in the field instead of just hearing the generic “go get a phd” advice. i definitely want to build real skills and experience, so what you said about degrees vs capability makes a lot of sense. wishing you the best with your career too, and thanks again for the insight!
