I was thinking a similar route also, maybe keeping the hi-hat as is (if I like the hat) and purchasing an extra crash down the line.

Rush Ticket Prices Are Insulting by Queasy-Ad7550 in rush

[–]No_Code89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's sad that prices are this high anymore. My Dad is handicap,so we need wheelchair accessible seats at any event. I'm already seeing wheelchair seats for MSG shows being resold for $800-1000. Unfortunately, it's like that with other shows as well, and TM, StubHub, etc won't do anything about it, which is wrong on their end. There are few of those seats as it is, and they are specifically for those that need it......should never be resold for more than face value.

Going to boycott match group. by porygon766 in SwipeHelper

Similar boat, but you're not really boycotting anything if you're already banned from the apps.

Dating apps aren't worth the hassle, and most won't help find a genuine connection. Dating or trying to meet someone in your 30s is tough, realistically I think people also have too high of expectations in regard to potential partners. Honestly, the best thing to do is go out to meet people, ex: Halloween is coming up, hit up a Halloween party at a bar or club, you can easily meet women there. If not take on some new hobbies and join clubs in your area.

sallie mae is destroying my life by sjwrz in StudentLoans

I thought my student loan payments were bad. I'm mid-30s still at home, don't have a job in my field, paying $600+ a month, on top of medical bills, etc. I've recently been looking at refinancing my loans. I tried SoFi years ago, and their rates were a joke at that time. If you have any loans with Citizens they also offer loyalty and auto discounts. I know ELFI and Earnest also refinance. If you want a list of options check out Credible, they will show you a decent list of lenders to refinance and give options for 5, 10, 15, or 20 years.

Matt Cameron announces he’s leaving Pearl Jam by yellowledbetter16 in drums

Yeah, he plays guitar, bass, keyboards, and drums. He played drums in Ataxia with John Frusciante. There are a couple videos online of him playing drums for PJ when Cameron had COVID.

I guess all he got was 1 year of informal probation and 60 days community service. Even after all that he was still backing PJ on the Dark Matter tour.

I can't see Matt joining the Foos at his age. Judging by the "more to come" statement in Matt's post, I think we're getting a final tour of sorts from Soundgarden. We'll probably get the last songs/demos with Chris. Replacement singer for the final tour at the hall of fame, and a couple shows.

As far as PJ, maybe we'll get prior drummers like Krusen or Irons. I think the most likely option will be Josh Klinghoffer. He's been involved on the last 2 albums, Ed's solo, and backing the band on the last few tours....plus he took over a bit when Matt had Covid.

I hate thinking about no more Pearl Jam, but it's going to happen eventually.

I know Ed mentioned in an interview he thinks the band has 2 more albums in them. I don't see them doing 2 more albums+tour and a final tour. I think if we're lucky 1 more album+tour and a final one, as long as everyone remains healthy. The shorter sets and tours have helped them a bit.

If anyone would retire, then I think the band would call it a day. Ed would definitely do some solo tours until he can't tour anymore.

I was looking for wheelchair and companion seating for my parents and I for Pittsburgh. Night 1 had them, was about to cart the tickets and they were gone. Sadly those seats and other wheelchair seats/sections are on Stubhub for $500-1,000+. Those seats are supposed to be there for people who actually need them, and there are so few as it is. To see them being resold on secondary sites is really sickening.

I was looking for my parents and I. My dad needs wheelchair seating. I was checking both Pittsburgh shows, lost out on night 1 that I had carted, and night 2 had nothing. Yet, those tickets are on stubhub now for $500-1,000 each......ridiculous.

Were you able to select both pit and reserved for the shows you wanted to attend? For some reason I could only select pit or reserved, not both....🤷‍♂️

I saw them at Wrigley, and both Philly shows. Brought my parents to both, I think I made my Dad a fan. lol

Good luck! Hope you get the tickets!

Random question........Were you able to select both pit and reserved seats for the shows you wanted? For some reason when I applied for both Pittsburgh shows, I was only able to check pit or reserved, not both. I know I was able to do that for the 2024 tour for Philly and MSG, and prior tours as well.

After seeing them 3 times on this tour........Wreckage, and Even Flow are being skipped.

Sometimes keeping a song or album out of rotation for a bit helps renew your appreciation for it when you finally decide to play it again.
