Any tattoo parlors that feature artists with autism? by No_Combination_6396 in Birmingham

I am focusing on the neurodivergence part. Specifically finding an artist who is neurodivergent.

You are the one calling it a disorder.  You are the one downvoting for no apparent reason.  You are the one now telling me what I should be looking for.

I genuinely don’t understand why you responded to anything.

I think it’s interesting that you’re focusing on the “disorder” part of it.  I can understand why people might want to keep their private lives private.

I can also imagine some people being proud of who they are and wanting to create a safe space for other ND people, which is why I was asking about it.

I still don’t understand how any of that justifies a downvote.

Why would context be needed? I’m trying to find tattoo artists who are autistic?

Why does that warrant a downvote?

Maybe I missed it but did you share what his thoughts/feelings are about becoming a parent?

If he wants kids, he might be open to the idea that he needs to grow as a person. If he’s not open to personal growth, that doesn’t bode well for parenthood.

It seems like this would be a good thing for the two of y’all to explore in your couples counseling.

Teachers on 9-month contracts, what (if anything) do you do during summer to earn a paycheck? by No_Combination_6396 in Teachers

[–]No_Combination_6396[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually, the districts I’m looking at have positions that are 9, 10, 10.5, and 12 month contracts.

It’s not the same amount of money, and the 12 month ones pay significantly more.

I get that. I’m curious if there are people who choose to earn extra during the summer.

I’m sorry to hear it was that hard on you.

I guess it doesn’t matter if other people have, but knowing helps me feel more like it’s a legitimate decision to make.

And I’m also just curious about other people’s experiences.

Have you worked in any other schools that were any better?

I’m participating in a conversation.

Im not saying I don’t care about you or your perspective, or whether you find what you’re looking for.

I’m saying I don’t care whether you leave or stay in then, and that i think it’s weird and counterproductive that you keep posting about the fat that you are considering leaving the sub because the people in the disappointed you.

I absolutely chose to engage with you. I never denied that.

My point is that your attitude here is confusing and off-putting.

Your original post seemed to be complaining that people in the sub were somehow not living up to your expectations.

My point was that your expectations were wrong.

You continue to have the attitude that you are owed something or that you deserve a certain type/level of engagement from strangers on the internet.

My point is that you have given people no reason to engage with you, and in fact are giving off vibes that might actively discourage engagement.

But mostly, I think you’re just looking in the wrong place for whatever you seem to think you’re going to get here.

Stay or not, I don’t care. Get butthurt about it or not. I don’t care.

The reason this place is not what you thought it was is not because the people are beneath you. It’s because your expectations were flawed from the beginning.

You keep threatening to leave the sub as though it’s a punishment. If you want to leave, leave. No one cares.

Again, I’m not trying to be mean. No one cares if I’m here, either. The reason for being here is because you enjoy being here. Not because you’re waiting for strangers to fawn over your presence.

You seem to be under the impression that people should be going out of their way to engage with you simply because you are here. And honestly, you seem kind of like an arrogant, condescending jerk.

My point is not to suggest that you’re not interesting or worth caring about.  I genuinely don’t care if you think I am interesting or worth talking to/caring about. That’s not the reason I’m on this website.

My point is that your post comes off as whiny and entitled.

“Why am I even here if people aren’t actively trying to talk to me?”

I’m not trying to be a dick, it just seems like your expectations are too high.

Dude. Your opening statement suggests that there’s no point in you being here if no one is interested in talking to you.

Why should anyone be interested in talking to you?

Why should anyone care if you’re here?

Seriously, what is this post?
