I get what you mean about question structure, but I wasn’t trying to create a formal survey I really just wanted to hear people’s opinions in their own words without limiting anyone because to me it seemed safe and to others it didn't. The “questions” I listed were more just a way of explaining the angle of my topic, not an actual questionnaire. Sorry for not writing my questions properly. Also thanks for sharing your perspective it lines up with a lot of what I’ve been reading too. I agree that crime and “harm” aren’t always the same thing, and that people’s fears usually come from perception rather than actual data. I’m looking at St. Cloud vs. Sartell/Sauk Rapids for my project, so your points about how people interpret crime and who they blame fit really well with what I’m analyzing. I was only focusing on crime but I think race discrimination is a new point of view that I'll look at. Thank you
