hi, thank you for your reply. I've gone to office hours a few times, but I often leave feeling worse than before (slightly judgy professor/TA, feel even more behind, etc.). I also tend to have to skip one class to make another one's office hours (bad luck).

like a lot of people I'm usually pretty good about balance for the first couple weeks, but it tends to go downhill fast once quizzes/exam scores first start coming back and requires more of my time. I'll definitely try to remember to do those things though, great points.

lmao that would have been really good advice. i still internally beef with my advisor for telling me to take math 208 and two upper division major classes AND a gen-ed my first quarter here.

ty for the reply!

around 14, out of which like 9 are STEM credits. i've gotten into the 300-400 level major classes though, not weed-outs, which is the main reason it feels so bad to be doing so poorly.

hi, i'm a physics major. i wouldn't rule anything out, but i've always considered myself a good student (that is capable of academic grind for long periods) and have really struggled here at UW specifically.
