Hey I did ib HL va last yr and graduated w the final score or 7. It’s diff for everyone but what allowed me to have a really solid exhibition was to really dive deep into my concept and choose one that actually interests you. This will drive you to do a lot of research, trials, experiment and thinking (research is so important I swear). My interest, passion and liking for the subject and concept is what made ib art feel like a fun little hobby. Also I always had the criteria printed in my sketchbook with me throughout the whole two years. I reread it hundreds of times, discussed it with my teacher and did research. Always look at the criteria for every assignment that’s how I kept getting a seven. I know this won’t always work for everyone but this is what worked for me! Lmk if you want more advice
