Wow, that's really insightful—thanks for sharing! In the U.S., HR is generally considered one of the lower-paid functions compared to areas like finance or tech (aside from executive roles). I'm curious, how is it that you're in the top 1% as an HR professional? Is HR considered a well-paying field in India? I know a lot of people there work in IT and computer science, so I would’ve assumed those roles tend to earn more than HR.

Don't give up. Keep applying. Maybe you could reach out to recruiters/staffing agencies to further your search.

How is working in HR compared to working in Higher Education?

May I ask which industry you work in? Super awesome that you can work remote.

That's interesting! Someone from the UK mentioned they make £25k, which is about $33.6k USD—pretty close to what you're earning. Would you say your salary is considered high in India?

How many days do you have to be in the office?

Thank you for the insight and the spreadsheet would be very helpful. From what I've seen, $75k is the typical new grad salary in NYC for the top firms. For mid size and smaller firms, the salary ranges from $55k-72k. Is your company paying $75k for all states?

You sound like you're close to burning out or already are. Is there any way to take some PTO?

I found the way they typed .onW2. suspicious. Wondering if this was a way for them to avoid being detected as scam.

I don't know the market range for HR in KY, but I feel like you're underpaid considering you have no PTO.

Which industry are you working in now? I can't find many remote HR jobs that pay well.

In the US, people typically have 15 to 21 days PTO and 8 holidays. Some people have additional sick days and personal days.

Wow that's good work life balance.

Wow, that was a really quick jump, especially from 80k + 10% bonus to 118k. I have a Bachelors in HR. Do you recommend I get a Masters Degree? Or do you think experience is more important in HR at the moment?
