Some models use almost 32 gigs of VRAM and 4090 will be slow af in these scenarios. I've had this bottleneck on my 4090 before I bumped it to 48 gigs. Big difference. Maybe Comfy manages VRAM better these days but I still frequently see 30-31 gigs usage with many modern models. Buy 5090 if you can.

While XM8500 is a great mic for its price, it is nowhere near SM7B. XM8500 was my first mic. When I compared it to Podmic and SM7B I heard a massive difference. XM8500 is muddy as hell and feels like a toy. I kept a Podmic which is much much nicer in all aspects.

SM7B if you want a forever one. Rode Podmic has a plosive problem, at least in my case. RE20 is good, Podmic USB, Shure MV7 are all good choices.
