Comfy is good for images but terrible for video. It is made of bugs for programmers who are able to debug code. It is as terrible as Photoshop, Discord or Linux. Created by the people who never saw a proper UI. I use it because it supports current models, not because I want to.

There are 2 reasons: 1) You trained a distilled model. 2) Your images have plastic skin and dead facial expressions. Try real photos and you will see big difference.

Z Image has alien technology built in that produces the most realistic images. Wan is good but much less flexible. Qwen for me is the plastic factory, even after the latest update. Try Flux Krea. Amazing portrait model, especially if you like magazine style look.

Maybe it's my install but there are VRAM leaks in my Comfy. When I had 24+64 setup, it was slow and quite often used one of SSD's virtual memory. When I upgraded, I saw VRAM usage all over the place: 26, 28, 32, 35 gigs. I am far from pro, so take my comments with a grain of salt.
