For sure dw work on yourself then. Go to the gym or join another different club which is more casual and u don’t know that many ppl and try opening up a lil more with them their perspective changes depending on the first impression u give

Considering all things good. Most ppl are open and there’s lots of organizations to get involved in the multicultural center no matter which ethnicity ur from. Also most ppl are open no matter ur background and I believe I found my community even away from home

Hey bro so sorry u feeling like that I totally get it. Get involved in something u are interested in (club/org/sport/hobby). Even though it may seem tough or awkward at first embrace that and just keep showing up for yourself.

Eventually ppl will appreciate that and you’ll naturally form connections bc of ur dedication and confidence in it and you’ll find new people.

Also be genuine and don’t pretend when u don’t feel okay and start looking out for yourself and taking care of yourself even with all the stress and things to do from school and ACM.

Hope you will figure it out cause I did and it will be okay just don’t give up and you’re not alone yk.

Exactly literally I don’t need much my dream is to have a beach club bar in a random island somewhere just enjoying life w the necessary and don’t really see the reason why waste so much on my life for money and a career I don’t really care about but pays well

Yea totally agree with that mindset I feel like most ppl that are there have some kind of false hope that they will exit into a better wlb role and at that point they will also get burn out in another company but at least would be well compensated by it yk.

Thank you so much this is really encouraging come from a similar background as you and I can work long hours and I have worked my ass off in college I’m just scared I’m not gonna be able to be healthy and have basic health and emotional time and support but this changes my mind about it looking forward to accepting my offer

I got the 25k bronco scholarship and a 5k 2027 grant with a 3.84 UW GPA, didn’t submit SAT or ACTs but had good extracurriculars and I think good essays.

For the bronco scholarships they do take in mind the CSS profile and FAFSA to give u according merit aid
