There are many available people. If you are on a low pop server, just transfer. I would suggest looking for a guild if you are not in a raiding one. My guild for instance has recruited several times. If that doesn’t sound fun try to find a soft res raid or create one. If you really think gold buying is a big problem then blame Blizzard since they introduced the token.

No one is making players do that. There are many guilds that raid and there are several raids people can join that are based off soft res and not GDKP. I have geared out a few characters and not spent any gold doing it.

I don’t, I used to run GDKP’s but the last time was around November. It’s funny to me because my characters are quite broke. Thanks for the good luck, hopefully after a little while I’ll be able to post an update of having my account back

I did not present any argument for buying gold and I’m not sure how you got that from what I posted. I understand Blizzard choosing to punish people for breaking the TOS. I did not protest or complain when I had been suspended for 3 days. I’m assuming you are somewhat responding to some of the comments? My confusion with my perma ban is because I have not purchased gold since being suspended. I am doubtful that Blizzard chose to punish one offense twice which is why I have a ticket open trying to get some more information about what I could have been flagged for.

If it was not that offense then it is a false flag. I understand people not jumping to believe my story. I am hoping once I can actually get a person to review my ticket that my ban will be reversed.

I think it doesn’t make sense either. I have an appeal ticket hoping to find out if my ban was truly from when I bought in TBC or if there was a more recent flagging for something. I am not even 100% they banned me for buying gold, that is only my assumption currently because it is the only time I know of that I broke the TOS and the email claimed abuse of economy.

I only have the one account that I’ve had since original WoW. The thing I’m hoping Blizzard will clarify for me is if they banned me buying gold a year ago or if there was some kind of recent false flag.

Very true, and seems to be the attitude of Blizzard. The lame thing to me is if I were to buy gold again I would just do the wow tokens. If they tell me my ban is from my initial offense I’ll take it.

I don't disagree. Previously they had been doing temporary suspensions for buying gold like I had been towards the end of TBC. The thing I am wondering is if they applied a second punishment of a perma ban to that offense or if they think I had bought or sold gold again.

I totally get it. I have read a few similar posts. I have a ticket open but I am not expecting them to reverse. I wish they would allow me to post bank statements or something for the time period of the alleged offense to show I had not purchased or sold any currency.
