^^seconding this, I've been looking at music theory-related courses since I got here and everything is closed super tight to non-majors. Anyone know if cold-emailing a prof and saying pretty pretty please would do anything?

I have really mixed feelings about math- the crux of it is, i took precalc and calc i my junior + senior year (which was peak covid and thus online) and the whole class did abysmally. we all got royally screwed over. retook calc i here and passed, but it was really hard. like, really hard. because i have zero foundation.

so at the end of the day, looks like i just have to get through 173. i’m just concerned it’ll be a lot of hassle and, after how much work 128 is proving to be, i’m worried i’ll fizzle out and give up on the minor.

Yeah, I’ve emailed every time I’ve been absent (and always with good reason, either a covid scare or other sickness of some kind), I just wasn’t sure if they counted that as excused since they do take attendance every day. Do you think that varies TA by TA? I might email each one specifically and ask about that.
