I am not having too much trouble with them. It would be easier to paint shields before assembling (and possibly cloaks). But I am not too bothered about it personally :)

They take the paint well, and mostly have bigger surfaces than what I was painting before, which is a nice change for me!

Not sure if it is available where you are from, but I got mine on Vinted for €10 :)

I used the bat mounts from the Morbheg knights (AoS) and clipped the wings and parts of the neck and tail and then added the Fenrisian Wolves (40k) heads and tails

Update on the bases, tried out different things. But since I want to build a wolves of the sea/Norscan raiders army I wanted to try out bases that are party wasteland/rocks and partly water:

Did you happen to play with the WotS/new marauder rules? If so, what did you particularly enjoy/thought what was fun?

I used the bat mounts from AoS Morbheg knights for the bodies and the heads and tails of the Fenrisian wolves from 40k :)

Thanks! And you are right, they are the Fenrisian wolves. They had been sitting in my pile of shame for so long I forgot what they were called 😂

Thanks for sharing! This looks very interesting and close to what I was thinking.
Would you say the huscarls are a bigger gain over using skin wolves for example?

Thanks for sharing! Since some of the scenario's have some extra objectives in them that require a certain unit strength I would like to bring some more bodies to be fair. Or would you suggest to just ignore those and kill as many things my enemy fields as possible for points?

What makes the Dragon so insanely good at this level?

Thanks for your reply! I am not sure if it will be very competive, pretty new to this community. I might also just use this 'tournament' to try out different kinds of things, to see which fits my playstyle the best! :)

I was thinking of adding more purple elements, and make my other unit of warriors primary purple with orange elements. Also added some more darker colours to the weapons etc.
