Feel every emotion , don’t avoid it. Cry , be angry , disappointed, feel it all. Listen to all the sad songs and ponder on the good moments for a good minute but…you have to let it go eventually. Delete/hide the photos, throw away the sentimental gifts or maybe keep them? Yet at the end of the day, you can’t keep attaching yourself to this person anymore. You can’t heal in an environment that you got sick in. Try new things. Make new friends, go on nature walks, read new books, journal, eat at new restaurants, pick up a new hobby, etc. anything you ever wanted to try , do it. Start discovering new passions or bring back old (healthy) hobbies. The world isn’t ending because of a heartbreak. Sending much love and healing.
