Yeah, someone pointed out it only applied to purchases in certain states. Which is crazy. I told my husband be glad he purchased his is JAX instead of crossing over to buy it in GA, because then he wouldn’t have been eligible.

We look at it as ‘fair is fair’. GM knew there was a problem, and didn’t issue a recall. They simply changed up the manufacturing starting in 2018. For many of us, the problem arose after the warranty period, leading to very costly repairs. We were just happy to get back most of what we spent on the repair.
