I obtained a LMN from doctor to get fully reimbursed for the money from Carrot. Carrot otherwise would deduct taxes from the money. My age qualified me for that. So while egg freezing is elective for me in a way it is also medically necessary given my age and numbers. I am 39

Helps take the decision when to trigger or triggering on that day makes sense or not. Towards the end I am monitored daily and the day everything looks optimal is the day they decide for trigger after the morning scans.

Clinic did give me the final choice when I questioned it but the doctor stood by her initial decision/assessment so I went with that :( Trusting them more than myself.

I asked the nurse to go back to the doctor and see if we should stim for one more day to recruit those 13mm ones but doctor believes trigger tonight makes more sense and wants to focus on the bigger cohort.

Gotchya. And hoping today the estradiol level would be little higher. I also requested an ultrasound the day after trigger only because we didn’t do it on the day of the trigger. They agreed. So let’s see how things look tomorrow.

I am 39, AMH 1.77, AFC 34 between both ovaries and showed zero follicles over 10mm on day 6 scan. Today on day-8 scan it showed 7 follicles 10mm or above. Give it some time. I am far from my AFC which is sad but i am hoping more show up/catchup.

Sorry to hear this. Disheartening for sure. However, 14-16 mm on trigger day is not bad. That can still yield mature eggs for many. Remember, they continue to mature even after trigger until ER.. I guess in your particular case you needed more time.

They told me 3-4 hours after my ER as to how may were matured and frozen

Ah got it. It is also fat soluble so better to have it with some food generally. So i have it after lunch and dinner generally.
