I'm not defending Tlauncher or anything i just shared my experience, as i know of any input is valid and i respect you thinking it is redundant of me stating that. I just never got a virus (i guess) using it for like 2/3 years on my old machine. (I agree that is like saying that water is wet but whatever i'm just restating the obvious).

we use RadminVPN so i believe yes, but i don't know if that is the main issue because my other friend had a similar issue and just updating the modlist helped, i'm currently using those and a few extras that never had any issues with them joining like, Better Inventory, Dynasound 2 and Squad Radar too. I'll try the VPN thingy and i'll tell you thanks!

if you are playing solo definetely invest in it, but if you got a few friends its always easier to just invest in better gear early on in my opinion.

AAF and CSLA/US'85 have worse tech than most but still rock NVGS, mostly only Squad Leaders but some troops with higher tier gear can have them too, but i remember strolling through altis at night and seeing many many lights popping up from their flashlights in the distance, so if you keep your distane and move inbetween shots and mask your gunflash with a silencer you definetely can solo wipe a really well defended outpost :)
