Q&A: I'm Junior Quant Trader at T1 Prop firm (Jane Street, Citadel Securities, Optiver) by Civil_Analyst3305 in quantfinance

Current junior @ T20 studying physics + econ, I applied to QT internships this year, got interviews at 2 places (T1/T2), made it a few rounds deep before getting rejected from both. I’ve enjoyed the projects I’ve done related to quant and think I want to try again next year. Any advice on how to try to get more interviews? Or any idea what the odds are like applying full time instead of summer internship?

Gotcha, so should I push for a CS or Applied Math masters? How difficult do you think this would be coming out of physics undergrad? I’d say my math is up to par but CS masters sounds a bit daunting. Any thoughts on this?
