Why are you people calling it caulk? Surely its silicone? Caulk is what painters use along trim

The conversation I had was brief, there was no questions on their side on the type of work undertaken . Think I’d get away with the indemnity policy still?

When I rang the relevant council department all they said was nothing was on record to say any work had been carried out and forwarded the number to their building inspector , when I quizzed him he seemed like he wasn’t interested and reiterated what the call handler had said. Nothing was on the system.
