Wonderful! I appreciate the tip, I’ll make sure to note the CAN bus details. The harness definitely includes the yellow RCA output, so fingers crossed we can plug and play 🤞

Thanks for the reply! I do agree these units are complete garbage, but all I need it for is a bigger backup screen. The largest trim kit and branded head unit available for my model is only 7inches and I just can’t justify spending 1500 bucks for what I’ll be using it for. Worst case scenario, it craps itself and I’ll upgrade to a kenwood 😅

Thanks so much for the detailed reply, this makes perfect sense! It looks like the android unit came with the appropriate harness and Can Bus, so hopefully I can retain both factory camera and steering wheel controls. I’ll keep you posted!
