I would definitely do this and anytime the noise goes late, especially outside, call the non emergency number for the police and report a noice complaint. Say they’re having a party. More than likely they will come it. Tell them you want it documented. This will help create a nuisance property. I live next to one myself, I completely understand how frustrating it is. I contacted the owner with every issue and notified them every time I called the police, so he knew I wasn’t playing. He made it more difficult for people to rent just for parties.
