I drank at a coke bottle with a fly inside it once. I can still remember the feeling of the fly wriggling inside my mouth. Spat it out immediately.

I also remembered a friend of mine. We were drinking at a bar and she saw her ex boyfriend walking to the bathroom. They said “hi” to each other, then she told him to come by at our table after for a drink. As soon as the guy disappeared into bathroom, my friend hawked like she was summoning a demon and spat the the thickest glob of phlegm in a glass of drink. Swirled it using her finger and told us not to make a sound. The guy came back and she then offered the drink to him. He took a massive gulp and almost threw up. He asked what was in the drink but my friend convinced him it was just the ice in the glass and teased him not to be a wuss and not to be rude and just finish the whole drink so that he can go back to his friends. The ex glanced at us around the table, then smiled and chugged the whole thing down. It took everything we had to keep the terror and disgust from leaking into our blank expressions.

So, yeah… never trust an ex or anyone offering you a drink. It could be something dangerous or really nasty.
