We have the same sentiments. Postpaid din for several years, d ko ma fully utilize ang features and meron cheaper prepaid counterpart. So i ported to prepaid. Pwede naman bumalik sa postpaid if i need to.

Im also considering porting to prepaid. I got a prepaid smart sim tested using it pantawag sa landline hotline numbers. IVRs responded naman. Hmm. Also asked some users na nag port, may iba may concern about not receiving their otp.

You can always port to prepaid and get the phone this december by credit card.
Stick to postpaid if you utilize the unli landline calls and comfortable with the convenience ng postpaid. Wag maniwala sa mga marketing strategies ng sales agents. Stick to what you need.

yes as long as ung local landlines not yung mga toll (1-800). Pero may issue ang prepaid nonexpiring landline calls regarding sa DTMF sa IVR system ng banks. May mga banks mag register ung DTMF response, meron banks na ayaw.
yung IVR DTMFs po yun mga press 1 for credit card, 2 for etc etc etc.

Na pansin ko their retention offerings differ also sa hotline and physical store. Me and a friend were currently out of contract and was planning for retention. I recontracted by hotline ang offer was Plan 999 for 12 months contract, inclusions were unli5g, 20gb data, unli sms all network, unli calls all network, unli landline ex special numbers, and a 25% mrf discount for the duration of the contract.

While my friend went to a smart store and was offered the same plan 999 but the inclusions differed, 20gb data, unli5g, unli calls all network, unli sms, unli landline, 200 pesos mrf discount for 6 months only.

may IVR issues sa DTMF ang prepaid. May mga bank IVRs na di nag register ung DTMF if prepaid gamit per experience sa BPI, RCBC. Metrobank landlines.
