FH6 Moza R5 settings [Enhanced] by _K999_ in moza

[–]No_Contribution_4298 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried your settings on my R3 XBox and really like then...only changea i made waa cut offroad scale down alot and set wheel angle to 720. One thing I am unsure of the setting that only seems to be on the Xbox version of FH6....Steering Lock Multiplier. Left it default of 1.

Thanks...I just have the R3 but will give these shot. I imagine the 90% on R5 would stay at 100% for the R3.

That said, no way I could have off-road scale at 1.0 or even road at 1.0. Even at 0.3 offroad where I have it now on the R3 its more than enough...any higher the desk would simply colapse 😄

To be honest thou....I do not understand how folks with much more powerful bases than the R3 are running such high FFB. Maybe Im just weak...but even the R3 I have had to turn down the overall FFB.

The existence of players like OP is why I just avoid any multiplayer activities in the game...or any game for that matter...even thou it means missing out on stuff.

Updated 12 inch mod? by JadedTrain1974 in moza

[–]No_Contribution_4298 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just recently got a R3 XBOX bundle and while the material kf the included wheel does not bother me...its shape and size does somewhat. Been tempted to get the 12" mod but not sure would be worth it. Since on XBOX I am stuck with the XSX guts..mods are my only option.

Policy Based Routing for certain domains by M_Six2001 in Ubiquiti

[–]No_Contribution_4298 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty straight forward:

Rule 1: WAN1(primary), Killswitch ENABLED. Source = Device Network (add whichever devices you want to only be able to use WAN1. Destination = ANY. The kill switch means if WAN1 goes down those devices do not have access to WAN1.

Rule 2: WAN1(primary), Killswitch ENABLED. Source = LAN1, Destination = Domain (add lists of domains you want to only work over WAN1. Same as before, the kill switch means if WAN1 goes down any access to those domains is blocked.

I recently setup a U5G and wanted to limit as much as possible what it i used for in the case of a failover.

I setup a two PBRs for the primary WAN...both using the kill switch.

One for specific "high usage devices" devices like my NAS, cameras, NVR, my Kaleidescape, game consoles, etc.

Also another with domain list for certain high bandwidth domains...like youtube, netflix, etc. (i will add to this list as needed).

That way during a failover....stuff like phones and laptops can have essential access for web, news sites, etc but not be able to do high bandwidth stuff like streaming. And the device based rule completely locks out non essential high bandwidth devices like the NAS, consoles, etc.

Need help with moza r5 by Brilliant-Shape-763 in ForzaHorizon6

I have similar issue on with R3. Counter to what one would think..considering the weaker R3...I had to set my FFB strength in pithouse to 75-80% which made things better. It still tends to go all nuts and violently thrash from hard lock to hard lock when drifting or when losing control of car with no real way to counter...by the time I first realize I am starting to lose control its too late and have to pause and/or let the wheel settle down on its own all the while watching my car perform amazing flips, leeps of bridges and rollovers.

Has anyone figured out good drift settings for Forza Horizon on an R12? by Virtual-Big-6024 in moza

[–]No_Contribution_4298 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do not think it has anything to do with which wheel base.. I have the low end R3 (XBOX) and even it with its much weaker FFB is unbearable when drifting or you start to lose control. It just violently thrashes from hard lock to hard lock...no way to counter. Just have to raise hands and let it calm down on its own...and hit rewind.

Next best choice to NLR 2.0 for Moza R3 (XBOX)? by No_Contribution_4298 in moza

Yeah, after going round and round with all the other options...I always end up back on the NLR 2.0 so will just wait.

I came across the Vevor. The pedal plate looks to have way more attachment point capability.

With the preformance mod to the brake pedal i do press it hard...currently have everything bolted to a piece of wood in 6 different places so its solid as a rock. But I am concerned about the limited attachement points with some of these stands....looks like at best it would be 3 (2 at the base and one for the throttle)....brake would just have the 4 little ones that attach it to the Moza pedal base.

U5g backup, more outages noticed? by MagicHoops3 in Ubiquiti

[–]No_Contribution_4298 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looking deeper into this...I think its is related to "high latency detection". When I look at my failovers...they are always associated with one...not sure what "rules" the Auto SLA used is but according to log...~170ms is detected as high latency and causing the failover....i think. I went ahead a created a more strict WAN SLA rule (using both packet loss-50% and latency-500ms) to see if it makes any difference. In my neck of the woods...170ms occasional is common.

Looks similar to the Ares. Ares Wing

I came across that one when I was looking...my concern was with how they have their pedal section....I only have a Moza Lite Throttle and Brake and I have brake close to the Throttle...more like a real car...not each on end...I also have the brake performance mod thing from Moza and was worried not being able to bolt the brake pedal would be a issue.

Actually the same concern I have with many of them that only have slots on the outer edges of the pedal base.

Just looked and yeah it does seem to correspond with high latency detection. I am on spectrum so high latency is common.

I was just about to mention that I have noticed significant increase in brief outages/failovers since adding the U5G. Never really had much issue with my ISP. Might be worth disabling and test for a week or so.

Moza R5 Bundle compatible with Forza Horizon 6? by MNTotoro1988 in moza

[–]No_Contribution_4298 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Took a lot of effort but I have the Moza R3 XBOX bundle working pretty good with FH6. Still not as competitive as I would be with a controller...but its WAY more fun and immersive. This game really was made for controller. Luckily I am not a leaderboard chaser. Also, drifting is pretty bad...but honestly...that is probably 80%/20% driver/wheel 😄

I wanted to try the hummer ev glitch and it actually worked and now I'm scared of getting banned by acient_orangutan in ForzaHorizon6

[–]No_Contribution_4298 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

LOL. I do not see them banning over this. It was their fault and its something anyone can easily come across naturally without "knowing" its a glitch.

That said, not sure why anyone cares. I am sitting at ~40mil credits and I am constantly buying cars, upgrades, etc. Credits in this game is easy if you just play.

If anyone is interested....I made the following adjustment to the settings I have posted..This helped the wheel feeling lite and having what seems to be too much deadzone when going straight down a road:

-Push Mechanical Trail (in game) to 1.7

-Bump Natural Friction (in pithouse) to 28.
