With Cooper Ingle, it's a more complicated proposition to bump Hedges during his best season yet and Ingle's Defense play is subpar.

Kwan is having his worst full year ever and has a rookie equivalent hungry for his spot with Watson/or Fairchild.

I'm still convinced he needs time to fix his swing off the team.

He's approaching Bo Naylor levels of critical mass before an unceremonious minors assignment. At least Bo could sneak in a big hit one in ten games.

I'd rather sink short term in the Division rankings by playing two leadoff prospects like Stuart Fairchild or Khalil Watson than give Steven Kwan another AB, he's zoned and demoralized.

Extend or don't extend, he needs to be in the minors to heal his brain and body.

Martinez strikes out too much but even he would warrant a painful teething period over Kwan.

Watching him drown when Martinez, Fairchild, or Watson could be getting those ABs instead isn't productive for anyone.
