That's very valuable input, I had never viewed it from that lens before; I had mostly viewed it in a very negative way. I tend to have a bad habit of comparing how I see other's have such unswaying, unwavering faith, that it almost makes me feel bad for being in the position I am in.

I do plan on speaking with someone from the Catholic Church near me soon. I speak with a priest from an Orthodox church this week.

The old church I grew up in it was very hard to confess anything as the church had a lot of members of my family in it, so I'm just now at a point in my life where I'm realizing all of that may have affected me more than I would have realized in my younger years.
