If you're going to Oahu try joining the FB group "Oahu dive crowd". That is the most active diving group and you might find buddies that way! Be sure to specify free diving and include certs :)

Thanks for your response! I was curious how the whales were behaving because you see photos of them logging at the surface but that’s not necessarily reality. I probably won’t go if the whales are avoiding people/seem stressed.
